Colors: Sally Hansen Plum Luck, Finger Paints Purple Palette, Finger Paints Art You Wondering?, Finger Paints Easel-y Entertained, China Glaze Platinum Pieces
I decided on a crackle mani today!
The Finger Paint glitters are very pretty, but quite sheer on their own. I used one coat of Plum Luck, then applied my glitters in striped sections. I didn't use tape on the stripes since I was using a crackle on top, and the lines didn't need to be perfect! Some ladies aren't wild about crackle ... I like it!! But, I've found that if you apply it in a side to side pattern, as opposed to painting it down your nail, you will get a much better pattern of shatter!!! It can get a little messy this way, so I recommend using a piece of tape on each side of your nail to keep the sides clean! I hope you enjoy! Happy painting ladies!!!!
I love this, adding it to my list of things to try. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad!!! It was a lot of fun to wear!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This looks like frozen lava! Love it! The crackle looks really good! (I'm not generally a crackle fan) ;)
ReplyDeleteFrozen lava!!! I LOVE THAT!!! I wasn't a crackle fan myself, until I started swiping it from side to side or diagonally, instead of straight down the nail. The effect is so much better!!!
