Eyelet Love You!!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!  I wanted to do a mani that was fun, bright, and delicate all at the same time!  So, instead of the usual hearts and flowers, I thought so eyelet lace trim would do the trick!

I started with one coat of China Glaze Gothic Lolita.  It's a great purple creme with a soft purple shimmer.

Next I chose my newest Dollish Polish Aurora Borealis, a fabulous shimmer coat that flashes from blue to purple. I used one coat ...

And I loved it, but I really wanted this to shine, so I used one more coat of Aurora Borealis.

I used my striping brush with Kiss White to create the lace lines.

Then I used my large dotting tool to create the first part of the eyelets.

Finally, I used my small dotting tool with Gothic Lolita to complete the eyelet loop look!

I finished with one coat of SV.

I love the way that this turned out!  It's fun and girly, without the traditional Valentine's Day look!  Have a great Valentine's Day and Happy Painting!!!

  7. It looks great! I've seen enough red, white and pink to see me through to next Valentines. Good to see something different :) Aurora Borealis is such a good name for that polish!
