Camo with an Edge

Hi everyone!  Hooray for Friday!!!  Today's mani was inspired by one of my newest indie treasures!!!

I started off with two coat of China Glaze Trendsetter, a muted yellow-green with a soft gold shimmer.

Next, using a medium sized dotting tool, I placed random splotches on my nail for the camouflage effect.

For this, I used Revlon Stiletto, a black creme, Revlon Hot Chocolate, a deep brown creme, and Zoya Yara, a medium olive with a golden green shimmer.  To smooth it out, I used one coat of SV.

Next, I applied one coat of Dollish Polish Urban Camo, a fabulous glitter with black and neon green micro glitters, medium light green hexes, large white hexes, and black square glitter in a clear base.

I really think Urban Camo gave this look the twist it needed to make it pop!

Here is a macro to show you all of the great glitters contained in Urban Camo.

I hope you like this one as much as I do!!!  Have a great weekend!

Happy Painting!

Colors: China Glaze Trendsetter, Revlon Stiletto, Revlon Hot Chocolate, Zoya Yara, Dollish Polish Urban Camo

  8. It definitely looks like camo, but I don't know how I feel about wearing a camouflage print at all, let alone as nail art. haha But you did an amazing job! :)
