Hi everyone!! I love following the creativity of other bloggers! Nailside has an awesome tutorial for lightning bolts, so I thought I'd give it a whirl today!
I started off with three coats of Smitten Polish Hydrangea, a sweet medium light purple with small multi sized hex glitters.
The formula was easy to apply, but it took three coats to bring out the true color.
After applying one coat of SV to protect Hydrangea, I taped off the top section on my nail and applied one coat of Sally Hansen Silver Sweep, a silver metallic. I followed it with another thin layer of SV.
I repeated the same tape pattern and applied one coat of OPI Road House Blues, a deep navy creme. I finished with one coat of SV.
I had a lot of fun creating this!
My color choices kind of make it look like a shark fin to me!!
