Some Mummy Like You

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to start some fun Halloween nail designs!!

I started with three coats of OPI Skull & Glossbones, a very soft grey creme, followed by one coat of SV.

Next, I used a very porous sponge with OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons to dab on some random splotches to create a slightly aged tinge to the finish.

Next, I used Kiss Black Striping to create a lined pattern for the mummy's bandage strips.

I used the same striping polish to fill in a small section of the center stripe, and then used my large, medium, and small dotting tools with Konad Special White, Konad Special Red, and Kiss Black to create the mummy's eyes.

Lastly, I added one final coat of SV.

I had so much fun creating this.  I have no idea who the original creator of the mummy mani was, but I have seen this style all over the place lately.  If anyone has any idea who came up with this, I'd love to know!!  I hope you all enjoy!

Happy Painting!
