China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I have some polishes from the new Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away Collection from China Glaze for you today.

Bend Over Backwards

Bend over Backwards is a medium red shimmer with a slight orange undertone,  The formula was a little on the thinner side, so it required three coats for a smooth and opaque finish.  The color is not one that is terribly unique, but it's still a pretty shade.

Igniting Love

Igniting Love is a juicy red creme with a slight pink undertone.  The forumla was a bit think for a creme, so this one also required more than two coats to eliminate the VNL.  This is actually a really fun shade to wear.  It definitely pops!

Hanging in the Balance

Hanging in the Balance is a medium blue creme.  This one was also a bit thin for a creme, but applied smoothly.

Creative Fantasy

Creative Fantasy is a medium purple jelly.  The formula was very thin for this one, and definitely required more than two coats.  I did not use a top coat here to show you the rubberized finish it has when it dries, which I absolutely adore.

Water You Waiting For

Water You Waiting For is a tinted blue base loaded with blue, green, and purple micro hexes.  Application for this was a little difficult, as the polish does not go on very smoothly.  It seemed to clump up on the brush a good bit.  It is also a near dupe of last year's Kendall on the Katwalk from Nicole by OPI.

Get Carried Away

Get Carried Away is a black jelly loaded with black and silver micro glitters, black bars, and silver, black, and rose medium hexes.  (The rose hexes have a bit of a reflective curl to them.)  I have never said these words before, but this is, without a doubt, the worst bottle of polish I have ever encountered.  The black base is too dark to make out most of the glitter.  It was like trying to apply sludge to my nails, and refused to have any kind of a smooth finish.  It just doesn't flow really.

Overall, I very much like the majority of these.  There are some really fun shades in this collection.
I hope you enjoyed!

Happy Painting!
