Hi everyone!! I hope you're all having a great week! I'm sorry I've been relatively quiet lately. I've been recovering from what the hospital assumes to have been two brown recluse bites, and all of the antibiotics they have me on have made me feel pretty blah. But, on a brighter note, I opened a piece of nail mail yesterday that I knew I had to try right away!
I started off with OPI Roadhouse Blues, one of my favorite midnight blue cremes. I followed it with one coat of SV.
I then decided to try a new method for a glitter gradient that the amazing Lucy's Stash shows here. I have always used sponging for my gradients, so it was a lot of fun to try this new method, and I absolutely loved it. It was a lot less messy as well!
To create the gradient, I used Girly Bits Sofa King Messy, a clear coat loaded with blue, green, silver, gold, red, and silver holographic micro and mini hexes. This is actually an unreleased polish that will not be available for purchase. It's super sparkly and so gorgeous!!! I love it!
The mix of colors really reminded me of twinkling lights and snowy sparkles so I decided to pair Konad Special White with Bundle Monster plate BM-323 for the snowflake design. I finished off with one coat of SV.
I really enjoyed creating this, and I really love the snowflake feel ... even though I live in Georgia and it's been in the seventies almost daily here!!! I hope you all enjoyed it too!
