Now You See Me ...

Hi everyone!!  I got another new indie in yesterday, and couldn't wait to try it!!

I started with four coat of The Hungry Asian Belle, a sheer white cream with brown hex and pink micro glitter.

And yes, you read that right, I used four coats.  Three would have done the job just fine, but I tend to be an overachiever sometimes!!!

I wanted to do something with this that would "pale in comparison" ... if you know what I mean!

I used my tiny, small, medium, and large dotting tools with Essie Sand Tropez, a light sandy nude creme, and Essie French Affair, a soft pink creme, to create a dotted gradient effect.

I started by using my large dotting tool, and placing random dots in both Sand Tropez and French Affair along the tip of my nail.  I repeated this step, decreasing the size of the dotting tool, up to the middle of my nail.  I finished with one coat of SV.

When you look closely, the dots are very much present, but, at a glance, all you will see is lovely Belle!
I hope you all enjoy!

Happy Painting!

Ridiculously Girly!

I everyone!!  I recently received a request from a follower of my site!  Her daughter asked if I could please do something super girly ad pink with sprinkles and bows!  (Awww!)
Her wish being my command ...

I started off with three coats of Butter London Disco Biscuit, a fun and juicy bright pink jelly, with gorgeous iridescent blue micro glitters.

Since it's a jelly, the formula was naturally a little sheer.  In artificial lighting, there was still a slight VNL, but in the sun, it disappeared!

For the "sprinkle" look, I applied one coat of Sonnetarium Snowfall, a clear coat with multi sized white hex glitters, and gold micro hex glitters.

This is an absolute glitter bomb ... I only needed one coat for this crazy amount of glitter!!!

For the bows, I used Bundle Monster plate BM-317.

To achieve the light blue, I place one dot of Konad Special White, and one dot of Konad Special Blue on each side of the bow image.

I then used an orange stick to blend the dots together!

I had a lot of fun fulfilling this request!  I really hope she likes it!  I have no idea how I could have made it any girlier!!!!

Happy Painting!

Check my heart rate, Doctor!!

Hi everyone!  I honestly hadn't intended on doing my nails today - I know, go ahead and faint - because I had a lot to do!  But, in the process of getting things done, I damaged my mani.
And that just won't do.

I started with three coats of OPI Red Lights Ahead ... Where?
I usually don't get too jazzed about colors like this.  But sweet mother of polish ... I am in lust with this! Is it red?  Red-orange?  Bright coral?  I think it's the perfect combination of all of the above!!

It is such a fun and juicy color for summer!!!

Since I was low on time, I decided to go for some quick stamping.

I used Konad Special White with my Mash-39 plate to create the heart design on my ring finger.  I love the design on this one!  The hearts look like roses!!!  So adorable!

I then used Konad Special Black with my Mash-38 plate to create the heart monitor lines on my other nails.  I finished it off with a coat of SV.

For something done in a hurry, I really love this!  It's bright, it has bold lines, and fun flowers!
I hope you all enjoy!

Happy Painting!

Bubblicious

Hi everyone!!  I got an epic piece of nail mail yesterday that I just couldn't wait to try out!!!

I started off with three coats of Girly Bits Mother May I?, followed by one coat of SV.

It's a delightful milky purple loaded with multi sized & multi colored square and hex glitters.  Application was an absolute breeze, and the glitters were not at all reluctant about coming out of the jar!

For a little extra bling, I applied one quick coat of Hello Kitty Purple Sprinkles to my ring finger, followed by one coat of SV.

I wanted to stamp something for a little fun!

I used Konad Special White with Mash-46 plate for the bubble design.

I finished off the mani with one more coat of SV.

I had so much fun creating this, and I love the final result!  It's fun and summery!

I hope you all enjoy it!

Happy Painting!

Beautiful Blooms!

Hi everyone!  I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend so far!!!!

I started off with three coats of Enchanted Polish Across the Universe, a gorgeous multichrome with scattered holo particles.

In any lighting, this amazing polish flashes so many different colors, that it was difficult to catch them all without taking ten different pictures!

It actually reminds me of the highly sought after mish mash polishes from Ozotic!

I wanted to add a little something extra, without taking away from this beautiful polish.

So I used Barry M Silver Foil with Cheeky plate CH26 for the climbing floral design.

I finished it with one coat of SV.

I really do love Across the Universe.  I can't stop looking at, wondering which color it's going to flash next!!!

I hope you enjoy!!

Happy Painting!
