A Side of Sparkle

Hi everyone!  I got a lot of requests for a little something involving owls, so here's what I settled on with the little time I had!!

I started off with two coats of Nicole by OPI Candid Cameron, a deep teal shimmer, on my index and pinkie finger nails, and two coats of Nicole by OPI My Jay or the Highway, a dusty taupe creme, on my middle and ring finger nails.  I followed with one coat of SV.

With the exception of my ring finger, I used Nicole by OPI Follow Me on Glitter, a black and silver micro glitter, with multicolored mini glitters in a grey jelly base, to create a glitter gradient using the brush technique I explain here.  I followed with one coat of SV.

On my ring finger, I paired Candid Cameron with Bundle Monster plate BM-309 for the winking owl design.  I followed with one coat of SV.

For a little extra sparkle, I added a small silver rhinestone to the top of each gradient nail.

I love the way Follow Me on Glitter dragged down the nail.  It really reminded me of a feather pattern to match the owls!!

I had a lot of fun playing around with these colors.  I love the way the complimented each other.  I hope you all enjoyed!
