China Glaze Hologlam Collection Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I am so excited to show you the much anticipated China Glaze Hologlam Collection!!!

OMG a UFO

OMG a UFO is a deep olive holographic.  The formula went on really well.  These all apply like a metallic, but the brush strokes blend in completely as it dries.  I really like this color a lot.  It's earthy and makes a great statement.

Cosmic Dust

Cosmic Dust is a deep silver holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This one really has a great gunmetal feel to it!

Strap on your Moonboots

Strap on your Moonboots is a deep blue holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I really adore this one!  The color is muted but bold at the same time!

Take a Trek

Take a Trek is a medium blue holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I love the teal undertones in this one!

Galactic Gray

Galactic Gray is a deep steely gray holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I noticed a strong chocolate undertone in this one that really gave it some extra depth.

When Stars Collide

When Stars Collide is a deep maroon holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I am absolutely crazy about this one!  The color is beyond gorgeous!

Infra-Red

Infra-Red is a deep magenta holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This color is nothing short of dazzling.  I could not stop staring at it!!

Sci-Fly By

Sci-Fly By is a silvery light blue.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I was really impressed with how much silver shown through with this one!

Astro-Hot

Astro-Hot is a medium light pink holographic.  The formula was a bit thinner than that of the darker shades, but was nonetheless easy to apply.  This one has such a delicate feel to it compared to the others.

Not in This Galaxy

Not in This Galaxy is a deep coral holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I knew I would love this one as soon as I saw the bottle.  I have been such a sucker for corals lately, and this one did not disappoint!!

Get Outta My Space

Get Outta My Space is a soft purple holographic.  This one was also a bit thinner formula wise, but was perfectly easy to apply.  This shade is so pretty and feminine!

Don't Be a Luna-tic

Don't Be a Luna-tic is a soft aqua holographic.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This was another fast favorite.  I love how different it looks based on the lighting.

I was a little let down by the holographic strength of these when I saw them in the bottle, but the holo definitely pops in the sun.  I am absolutely crazy about each one of these, and I hope you are too!

Happy Painting!

  1. They look great outdoors, but indoors they're just...meh. I thought China Glaze's Hologlam collection was supposed to revive the OMG collection wonder years & blow us out of the water...? Not so much. I won't be buying any of these. I like my holos full of holo-y goodness in all types of light. :) Great swatches!

  2. I was disappointed with the holo-ness of them. But, I love the colors. So, I did end up getting all of them, lol.
