Nicole by OPI Special K Trio Swatch & Review

Nicole by OPI has created three custom shades for Kellogg’s® Special K® beginning in April to pair with a campaign encouraging women to “show off your confidence with color.” Shoppers will have the opportunity to receive free full-size bottles of Nicole by OPI nail lacquer by signing up for the Kellogg’s Family Rewards program and entering codes from specially marked boxes of Special K products, while supplies last.

Challenge Red-y

Challenge Red-y is a bold red creme.  The formula was smooth and very easy to apply.  This is the perfect candy apple red shade that really makes me think of the classic old Hollywood look!
Shown is two coats of Challenge Red-y.

Be Ama-Zing!

Be Ama-Zing! is a bright pink creme.  The formula was smooth and very easy to apply.  This is such a fun and flirty pink to wear!!

Pros & Confidence

Pros & Confidence is described as being a turquoise creme, but it is actually very blue.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I really adore this color, even if it didn't come out as turquoise!

With the purchase of three eligible Special K products, consumers will receive the shade Challenge Red-y. After submitting the purchase codes from eight eligible Special K products, consumers will receive all three lacquers – Challenge Red-y, Pros & Confidence and Be Ama-Zing!

I really think Nicole by OPI has done an amazing job with these.  I have had some application issues with some of their past polishes, but these applied like a dream and went on so evenly.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these new shades!  Happy Painting!

  1. Great colors, I like the look of a glossy cream. Great swatches as always!

  2. There are some nice bright shades there! :D

  3. I really love that bright summery pink color. Really they are all pretty and I wouldn't turn any of them down. But I prefer the pink first, then the blue, and the classic red last.

I had seen the offer on one of my regular cereals, so I grabbed a few more cereals, cereal bars and protein drinks (all of them had the little 'Family Rewards' label on them). As soon as I got home, I tore them all open and entered the codes. I was super bummed when I found out that they all didn't count - only the ones that had specified 'Free Nicole Nail Polish' on the package counted (they counted towards the Family Rewards program, just not for the free polish). So I had to pick up a few more
I'm still one code short (one of the labeled ones didn't have a code printed inside the box - grrr!) We eat a lot of cereal in my home, so it's no loss. My kids love the Special K with chocolate, and I like having the protien drinks & cereal bars when I'm on-the-go and don't have time to eat. The fact that my favorite cereal company is also feeding my nail polish addiction is just pure luck :)
