Hi everyone! I have been lemming Lacquer Lust Butt Bootie Naked for months now, so I was so excited to finally snag one! I knew I had to use it immediately!!
I started off with two coats of Lacquer Lust Butt Bootie Naked, a creamy nude holographic, and two coats of OPI What Wizardry is This? on my pinky fingers. I followed with one coat of SV over BBN.
I hate to say it, but I was a little let down by BBN. The formula was a little on the thick side and not super easy to work with, and I continually ended up with something black in the polish leaving long dark streaks down my nails during application. I had to redo three nails because of it.
I used my small dotting tool with What Wizardry is This? to create the leopard rosette outlines on my middle fingers. I didn't apply top coat because I wanted the textured effect to remain intact.
For a little touch of fun, I applied a puffy leopard print hear decal to my ring fingers using Fing'rs Brush-On Nail Glue.
I decided to bring the leopard over into my ring finger as well.
I almost added something to my index fingers, but I decided against it because I really wanted to see BBN on it's own.
I really love the end result! It's so muted, but it has a little pizazz to it as well!!
I really hope you enjoyed seeing today's mani! Happy Painting!

ReplyDeleteVery lovely colour combination :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I've had the same experience with my bottle of Lacquer Lust.
I had those black spots that streak too but when I attempted to contact the creator, she mentioned that she hasn't had any other concerns with the polish & because it was one of the thermal polishes, I just thought that it wasn't mixed properly or was starting to break down.
