Follow your Compass Rose

Hi everyone!  We took the boys out for a day on the boat last weekend, so I created this for a fun matching mani!  And yes, I am aware I do a lot of nautical themed manis.  It's just ... I guess I'll - uhm, I'll try to stop okay?  Or at least cut down on them.  But I guarantee nothing.

I started off with two coats of China Glaze Fade into Hue, a soft periwinkle creme.

I used several different sized dotting tools with Color Secrets Snow White, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, Sinful Colors Timbleberry, and OPI Funky Dunky to create a random dotted look along the side and top of my nails.  I followed it with one coat of SV.

I used these adorable compass and anchor water decals and placed them in the blank areas of my nails.  I finished with one coat of SV.

I am crazy about compass roses, so I'm absolutely in love with these decals!!

I really like the end result.  I was so happy that there were several different designs of the decals, so that I could have something different on each nail!

You can find these decals, and a ton of other awesome nail art supplies at Born Pretty Store.  And be sure to use the Nail Polish Wars coupon code: DQL91 for 10% off of your purchase!
I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

  1. I like these, and just wear what you want too. Even if that is a lot of nautical themed nails!

  2. I love the stamp! I used to love going to the maritime museum in my state's northernmost sea town and of course that's what your stamping reminds me of ♥ Looks impeccable!
