Model City Halloween Collection Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!!  Today I have the Halloween Collection from Model City for you!  I'm so excited about this trio!  It's the first Halloween collection I've swatched this year, and they're awesome!  Plus, there is even an option for your polish to be scented, and each shade has a different scent!

The Great Pumpkin Massacre

The Great Pumpkin Massacre is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized metallic orange, holographic orange, and holographic black hexes.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail.  I love this mixture to pieces, and I am mostly crazy about the black holographic hexes as an accent to the orange.  The holo effect is so great that it actually gives the black a midnight blue look, which is pretty fantastic!  The Great Pumpkin Massacre is available unscented, or Pumpkin Bread scented.

Bobbing for Apples

Bobbing for Apples is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized holographic red dots and hexes and small iridescent glitters.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail.  I absolutely adore this shade!  One of my favorite nail art designs I did last Halloween was a blood splatter look.  To me, this awesome mix has such a great blood splatter look with a glitzy edge. -- So, does anyone want to touch on how weird it is that I'm psyched over glitter that reminds me of blood?  No?  Just me?  Okay then, moving on ...
Bobbing for Apples is available unscented, or apple scented.

Witch's Brew

Witch's Brew is a clear coat loaded with small metallic purple, green, blue grey, black hexes, as well as small purple iridescent glitters.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail.  I really like how dense this glitter is.  It can easily be an opaque glitter in two or three coats.  Witch's Brew is available unscented, or fruit punch scented.
Shown is one coat of Witch's Brew over Sinful Colors Olympia.

There is also an amazing candy corn scented cuticle oil available!  The oil was light and gentle, and wasn't greasy at all.  The scent was so yummy and not at all overpowering.

You can find these and other awesome shades at the Model City storefront here, and be sure to check them out on Facebook for all of their updates.

Happy Painting!
