KBShimmer Winter 2013 Collection Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I have the first part of the KBShimmer Winter 2013 collection for you today!  I will have the blogger collaboration shades up tomorrow.

All Elf'd Up

All Elf'd Up is a white crelly loaded with multi-sized hexes and micro fibers in red, green, and silver.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail.  I love the peppermint feel of this one!
Shown is two coats of All Elf'd Up over white base.

Kringle All the Way
2013 Toys For Tots Charity Polish

Kringle All the Way is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized dots and micro glitter in red, green, gold, and holographic silver.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I love this one to pieces!  The dots are so much fun to look at!!  This shade is a charity polish to benefit Toys for Tots.  Four dollars from each bottle sold between November 1st and November 30th will be used to purchase toys for Toys For Tots.
Shown is two coats of Kringle All the Way over white base.

Maybe Navy

Maybe Navy is a navy blue shimmer loaded with glassy flecks.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I love how dazzling this shade is!  The light catches the flakes so well.
Shown is two coats of Maybe Navy.

Myth You Lots

Myth You Lots is a deep blue linear holographic that is also a multi-chrome that shifts from blue, to purple, to copper.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I love everything about this shade!  The holographic is such a great accent for the color shift.
Shown is two coats of Myth You Lots.

Pigment of my Imagination

Pigment of my Imagination is a deep blue multi-chrome that shifts from blue, to purple, to copper.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, but is a bit on the thin side.  This is another great shifting shade!
Shown is three coats of Pigment of my Imagination.

Pretty in Punk

Pretty in Punk is an olive toned linear holographic that is also a multi-chrome that shifts from olive, to green, to silver, to lilac.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This was an immediate favorite for me!  It's such an awesome shade!
Shown is two coats of Pretty in Punk.

Rollin' with the Chromies

Rollin' with the Chromies is a cyan linear holographic that is also a multi-chrome that shifts from cyan, to blue, to purple, to orange.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I really like the electric look this shade has.
Shown is two coats of Rollin' with the Chromies.

Shade Shifter

Shade Shifter is a cyan multi-chrome that shifts from cyan, to blue, to purple, to orange.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, but was a bit on the thin side.  The cyan shimmer is so strong in this one, which make the color shift so much more vibrant.
Shown is three coats of Shade Shifter.

Snow Flaking Way

Snow Flaking Way is an indigo jelly with multi-sized hexes, dots, and micro fibers in purple and light blue holographic, as well as silver holographic snowflakes.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  Again, you'll have to fish for the snowflakes, but it isn't difficult at all.  I really love this one!  I'm a sucker for anything indigo, and the glitters are such a great accent!
Shown is two coats of Snow Flaking Way.

Urban Camo

Urban Camo is a multi-chrome that shifts from olive, to green, to silver, to lilac. The formula was smooth and easy to apply, but was a bit on the thin side.  I love how vivid the green is in this one.  It makes the color shift that much brighter.
Shown is three coats of Urban Camo.

When the Doves Sigh

When the Doves Sigh is a medium grey creme loaded with multi-sized dots, hexes, squares, and micro fibers in fuchsia, teal, navy, silver, and a holographic dusting.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail.  I like this one, but the creme is a bit too opaque to let the glitter show through really well.
Shown is two coats of When the Doves Sigh.

You can find these and other great KBShimmer shades at their storefront here, and be sure to check them out on Facebook for all of their latest updates and collections.  Stop back by tomorrow to check out the second half of this collection, the blogger collaborations.

Happy Painting!

  3. I ordered Pretty in Punk, Rollin' with the Chromies, and Pigment of My Imagination yesterday. I don't have any polishes that look like these. A lot of these type of polishes are more expensive from other brands.
