Hi everyone! I can't believe this is my 500th blog post!!! YAY!!!
Time for another cold weather mani, complete with snow, sweater, and foggy trees!
I started off with two coat of OPI Sleigh Ride for Two on my index and pinky fingers, OPI Dulce de Leche on my middle finger, and Cult Nails Faded on my ring finger. I followed with one coat of SV.
I decided to add one coat of OPI Pirouette my Whistle over Sleigh Ride for Two for a hint of snowfall that wouldn't be overly sparkly.
I paired Konad Special White with my Nailz Craze NC03 plate for the sweater pattern design over Dulce de Leche.
For my ring finger, I wanted to add some bare foggy trees. I first added a gradient over Faded with China Glaze Galactic Grey. I kept the gradient low on my nail. I then used my striping brush with Cult Nails Fetish to add some thin trees with skinny branches.
I used my striping brush again with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and went over the trees. I made sure to leave some of the Fetish portion showing for depth. Next I flattened out my striping brush, and lightly dabbed on some random tiny splotches on the trees with Fetish. I finished my mani with one coat of SV.
I am just crazy about those little trees! They were so easy to do, and they're definitely not something you need to worry about looking perfect during application.
I love the end result! It's a fun wintery and not overly uniformed look!
I hope you enjoyed! Happy Painting!
