Hi everyone! It occurred to me that I haven't done a full black and white mani on the blog before. How weird is that?!
I used Color Secrets Snow White and Sinful Colors Black on Black for all of my nails.
For my thumb nail, I started off with two coats of Snow White, followed by one coat of SV. Next, I used my Vynail chevron decals and applied one coat of Black on Black. I removed the decal guides and finished with one coat of SV.
For my index finger, I paired Konad Special Black with Bundle Monster plate BM-322 for the houndstooth design, followed by one coat of SV.
For my middle finger, I taped off the upper half of my nail and applied one coat of Black on Black. I used my large and medium sized dotting tools for my interlocking dots look. I followed with one coat of SV.
For my ring finger, I really wanted more of a marble look for my water marble pattern, so I used a more swirling pattern than I usually do. I followed with one coat of SV.
For my pinky, I applied my striping tape, and added one coat of Black on Black. I removed my tape immediately and finished with one coat of SV.
I had so much fun creating this design! I hope you enjoyed!
Happy Painting!!

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing skittle mani. It is gorgeous, and so elegant. I have to get myself a stamping plate with a houndstooth pattern ASAP. I also found some Sinful Colors polishes today, and I'll have to check next time I'm in the store to see if they have this black one. I bought some greens for my Christmas manis.
