Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hi everyone!!  I decided to do a little skittle mani for Valentine's Day!

I started off with two coats of Nostalgic Nail Lacquer The Princess, a soft pink creme with multi-sized hexes in white, pink, and fuchsia.  I absolutely love this shade!  It's delicate and fun all at once!!

For my pinkie nail, I used my striping brush to create a little kiss with Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink and Feeling Grapeful.  I followed with one coat of SV.

For my ring finger I used my striping brush with Zoya Rekha to create a large heart.  I then used my medium dotting tool with Kiss Black striping to create the keyhole.  I also added a little shine line with Kiss Silver.  I followed with one coat of SV.

For my middle nail, I used my striping brush with Nicole by OPI Love Song to create some small candy hearts, and then added some pink sugar spots with my tiny dotting tool and Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink.  I followed with one coat of SV.

For my index finger, I used Kiss Silver and Kiss Black to create a heart shaped key.  I followed with one coat of SV.

I had a lot of fun creating this one.  I think skittles are always such a blast to wear!  I hope you enjoyed it too!!

Happy Painting!

KBShimmer Spring 2013 Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to show you part of the Spring 2013 collection from KBShimmer!!

Lottie Dottie

Lottie Dottie is a sheer white with teal and fuchsia dots, mini bars, and micro glitters.  The formula was easy to apply, but is very sheer so you may want to pair it with a white base color.  Normally I'm not a huge fan of bar glitter, but I really like how small and delicate the bars are in this one.
Shown is three coats of Lottie Dottie, topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.

Iris My Case

Iris My Case is a soft purple creme with pink, purple, silver, and blue mini and micro hexes.  The formula was smooth and easy to work with.  I absolutely love this polish!  The glitter pops without taking away from it's delicate beauty.
Shown is three coats of Iris My Case, topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.

I Got a Crush on Blue

I Got a Crush on Blue is a deep blue jelly loaded with multi-sized silver holographic hexes.  The formula was smooth and easy to work with and didn't require too much glitter fishing.  This is absolutely a must own polish!!!  The holographic strength is amazing, and the large hexes have such a great mirror like shine.
Shown is three coats of I Got a Crush on Blue, topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.

Pastel Me More

Pastel Me More is a clear coat loaded with mini and micro hexes in a rainbow of colors.  The formula was smooth and very easy to apply.  This is such a soft and pretty glitter that would look great paired with any shade!
Shown is one coat of Pastel Me More over Zoya Shelby, topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.

A Dot Mess

A Dot Mess is a clear coat loaded with fuchsia and black dots, mini bars, and micro glitter.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  I honestly didn't think I would be super crazy about this one when I saw it in the bottle, but it is amazing!!!!  I love the dotted look so much!
Shown is one coat of A Dot Mess over Zoya Robyn, topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.

In case you might not have noticed, I mentioned that each swatch was topped with KBShimmer Top Coat.  This is seriously one amazing top coat!  It applies so easily and has such crazy shine to it!!  I think I may have a new go to top coat!

You can find KBShimmer's wonderful product line at their store here, and be sure to follow them on Facebook for all the latest info!

I hope you enjoyed these awesome new shades as much as I did!

Happy Painting!!

Wonder Beauty Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I have some Wonder Beauty polishes to show you today!!

Blue Sterling

Blue Sterling is a pale silvery blue holographic.  The strength of the holo is rather weak.  I tried as hard as I could to bring out the rainbow, but I never did see it.  The formula was a bit thick and not super easy to work with.  It took a lot of doing to get it to apply evenly.  Also, the smell for this one is seriously strong, so you might want to keep a window open.
Shown is two coats of Blue Sterling.

Let's Play Footsie

Let's Play Footsie is a bright pink jelly with multi sized muted gold, silver, and pink hexes.  The formula was easier to apply and actually gave good coverage for a jelly.  I didn't have to fish too much for the glitters either.  Again, the smell on this one is very, very strong.
Shown is two coats of Let's Play Footsie.

Kismet

Kismet is a deep blue shimmer with multi sized teal hexes and pink shards.  The formula went on very thick and was not super easy to apply.  I also noticed drags of the blue pigment occurring during application.  It was a little difficult to make out the colors of the glitters since the base was so dark.  Again, this one has a very strong smell.
Shown is two coats of Kismet.

Roxie Hart

Roxie Hart is a clear coat with red and silver bars, black hearts, and multi-sized silver hexes.  The formula was smooth, but the glitter was very sparse and did not come out of the bottle easily.  The smell, however, was much less intense than the previous polishes.
Shown is two coats of Roxie Hart over Lime Crime Once in a Blue Mousse.

1 Dozen Heart Bouquet

1 Dozen Heart Bouquet is a clear coat with red and pink hearts, green shards, and satin pink, red, and yellow multi-sized hexes.  The formula was a bit thick, but not overly difficult to work with.  I did struggle with glitter fishing, especially for the hearts.  The smell for this one was also less intense than the first three.
Shown is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over Zoya Wednesday.

I hope you all enjoyed these swatches!

Happy Painting!
