Waxing Argyle

Hi everyone!  It's been over a year since I did an argyle print, and since I already had a color scheme in mind for today, it seemed like a good fit.

I started off with three coats of Scofflaw Nail Varnish Ruff Tuff Creampuff, followed by one coat of SV.

I taped off the sides of my nails and alternated with Essie Turquoise & Caicos and Zoya Maya.

I used my smallest striping brush with Sally Hansen Wet Cement for my stitched lines.

I wanted to go for something a little more muted, so I added one coat of Cult Nails Wax That to tone it down a bit.

I love the end result!

I am so crazy about how these shades look together!

I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

Colors: Scofflaw Nail Varnish Ruff Tuff Creampuff, Zoya Maya, Essie Turquoise & Caicos, Sally Hansen Wet Cement

  4. This is lovely! The print & colors remind me of a Pringle of Scotland pullover I wanted to save up for when I was a teenager but it was so out of my shopping range :D
