Dance Legend Special Effect Tops Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  If you follow me on Facebook (and you totally should) then you might remember me mentioning all of the awesome Dance Legend shades I have to show you.  Since there are so many of them, I'll break them up by collection.  To kick off these swatches, I really wanted to start with the Special Effect Tops.

Dance Legend

Top Geometric

Dance Legend

Top Geometric is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized hexes, squares, and bars in black and white.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitter spread out evenly across the nail.  I absolutely adore black and white glitters, and this one is such a great one!  I felt like I was wearing a checkerboard explosion!  For a little fun, I decided to pair this one with a fun ombre.
Shown is one coat of Top Geometric over (from left to right) Zoya Wednesday, China Glaze For Audrey, Nicole by OPI Alex by the Books, and Zoya Neely.

Top Magnetic

Dance Legend

Top Magnetic is a grey shimmery magnetic top coat.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This shade is awesome because it makes any one of your polishes into a magnetic!

Top Prismatic

Dance Legend

Top Prismatic is a colorless linear holographic top coat.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This top coat gives any of your polishes a linear finish.  It did mute the base color a bit though, but it's still gorgeous!

Top Sahara

Dance Legend

Top Sahara is a clear coat loaded with iridescent and crystal micro glitters.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  This top coat will turn any of your shades into a texture coat.  I really like this one a lot!  The iridescent sparkles are amazing.

  2. The magnetic one is so neat! I never hopped on the magnetic trend bandwagon, but the top coat is tempting.

  4. Top Geometric isn't my type of polish at all but your pics are very tempting. I'd love to see more swatches of the magnetic coat over different colours to see the possibilities

  5. I think they're all fun but the black and white glitter isn't very creative anymore, and neither is the holographic topcoat. But the idea of a texture topcoat is quite fun!

  6. I'm not surprised that a brand *finally* thought to do a real magnetic topcoat. There have been a couple in the past that could be used as a topper over the right color with a light hand, but yeah... Neat!
