OPI Sheer Tints Swatch, Review & Design

Hi everyone!  Today I have the new OPI Sheer Tints for you!  I've been so interested to try these!

OPI Sheer Tints

The Sheer Tints are tinted top coats that are much thinner than basic jelly shades.

I applied one coat of each Sheer Tint over OPI Alpine Snow.  From left to right, Be Magentale With Me, I’m Never Amberrassed, I Can Teal You Like Me, and Don’t Violet Me Down
The formulas are surprisingly thick for such sheer shades though.  They would have been much easier to work with if they had been a bit thinner.

I really wanted to have a little fun with them, so I dabbed them on over Alpine Snow randomly for a watercolor effect.

For a little bit of a boost, I applied one coat of Northern Lights Holographic Top Coat.

I'm still excited to see what other designs I can come up with for these, but I still really wish that they weren't so very thick.  I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

  1. I've been seeing so many great watercolor inspired manicures this season. I always think they look so cool for such an easy method!
