Acid Rain

Hi everyone!  It's finally time to start the fall manis!

I started with two coats of A England Excalibur Renaissance, followed by one coat of SV.

Using a damp wedge sponge, I added a gradient effect with A England Excalibur Renaissance, Rose Bower, and Briarwood.

I wanted to add a black creme dry-brush look, so I selected OPI Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?.  (I chose this one because of its flat brush.)  To ensure I had thinner lines, I only used the edge of the bristles.  I also made sure to put extra focus on catching the tip of my nails with the brush for some added depth.  I finished with one coat of SV.

I really like the final look.  I don't know why it makes me think of acid rain, but it does!!
I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

  3. This manicure is awesome, I'm in love both with the colours you used and the outcome.
And yes, it gives me the impression of some sort of acid rain too...dripping from the tip of your nails.

  4. This is one Incredible mani! So beautiful - has a primitiveness to it, but still elegant. A mani that is so gorgeous that you truly feel it in your heart. Thank you!
