Sponged Splatter

Hi everyone!  It's been ages since I did a splatter mani, and I really wanted to get some neons in before summer officially comes to a close.

I started off with two coats of Color Club Look, Don't Tusk, followed by one coat of Northern Lights Holographic Top Coat for a little extra sparkle.

Using a porous bath sponge, I dabbed on a bit of polish with the polish brush, and then gently dabbed it randomly on my nails using Color Club Foxy Mama, Kapow!, Not-So-Mellow Yellow, Peace, Love & Polish, and Right On.  I finished with one coat of SV.

I really like the end result, and it was so much faster than using the straw method!

I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

  1. The results are lovely and I agree, it looks just as good as a normal splatter manicure but without all that mess.

  3. Your mani is gorgeous! I am very reluctant to give up summer colors also, hahah. I have been in a frenzy to wear them - I know you actually CAN wear a color of polish anytime But it does feel weird to wear spring / summer colors in winter! Anyway, love your choice of colors and that method. Very nice!
