The Lacquer Legion: Lucky

Hi everyone!  I just adore these monthly themes from The Lacquer Legion!  This month's theme is "Lucky", so when I sat down and thought about that, the first thing that came to mind was how lucky I am to be able to do this every day.
So I just went where the mani took me, and loved every second of it!

I started off with two coats of OPI Gargantuan Green Grape on my index and pinky fingers, and two coats of Milani HD on my middle and ring fingers.  I followed with one coat of SV.

I used some striping tape on my middle finger and added one coat of Gargantuan Green Grape, followed by one coat of SV.

For a little something extra, I added two rectangular Winstonia studs.

I really love the end result.  It's a little delicate, but still has a bit of a statement to it.

I cannot wait to see what the next month's theme is going to bring!
I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!!

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy Collection Swatch & Review

Hi everyone!  I have the new Sweet Fantasy Collection from Ruby Wing for you today.  Like all other Ruby Wing shades, each of these shades changes color in the sunlight.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Centerfold

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Centerfold is a bright pink jelly loaded with multi-sized hexes in silver and black.  The formula was a bit on the thick side, for a jelly, and the large glitters did have a bit of curl to them, making a smooth finish rather difficult to achieve.  When taken outside, the pink jelly immediately changes to a deep purple.  I really don't care for this one at all.  It's kind of one big mess on the nails.
Shown above is two coats of Centerfold indoors.
Shown below is two coats of Centerfold outdoors.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Deepest Desire

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Deepest Desire is a medium olive with a bold golden shimmer.  The formula was rich and easy to apply.  When taken outside, the olive immediately shifts to a medium bronze.  I really like this shade, but it doesn't strike me as being a good spring shade.
Shown above is two coats of Deepest Desire indoors.
Shown below is two coats of Deepest Desire outdoors.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Dolled Up

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Dolled Up is a nude crelly loaded with multi-sized hexes in yellow, blue, and red.  The formula was relatively smooth, but the glitters did like to clump together a bit.  When taken outdoors, the nude crelly shifts to a medium cherry.  I'm not too crazy about this shade either.  The color shift is a little patchy in this one, which was a first for me with Ruby Wing.
Shown above is two coats of Dolled Up indoors.
Shown below is two coats of Dolled Up outdoors.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

In Your Dreams

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

In Your Dreams is a grey toned baby blue creme.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  When taken outdoors, the baby blue shifts to a medium smokey blurple.  I liked this one immediately!  It's a fun shade to wear.
Shown above is two coats of In Your Dreams indoors.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Kitten Heels

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Kitten Heels is a medium magenta creme.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply.  When taken outdoors, the magenta shifts to a bold coral.  I love this shade!  Both indoors and outdoors, it's just fabulous!
Shown above is two coats of Kitten Heels indoors.

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Silk Sheets

Ruby Wing Sweet Fantasy

Silk Sheets is a light apricot with a subtle gold shimmer.  The formula was rich and easy to apply.  When taken outdoors, the apricot shifts to a medium melon.  I just love this shade!  It is perfect for spring!
