Petals in the Water

Hi everyone!  I have another Sharpie look up today - this technique is so much fun to do!

Petal Nails

I started off with two coats of OPI Glints of Glinda, followed by one coat of SV.

I created some floral shaped patches on my nails with light purple and magenta Sharpies, and filled in the open space with light blue and mint Sharpies.  I used a flat detail brush dipped in alcohol and blotted the nail.  I finished with one coat of SV.

I really love the end result!!
I hope you enjoyed!  Happy Painting!

  6. Sharpie's and things like alcohol ink (tim holtz) for example are actually not safe to have on skin or nails.

  7. Looking through your blog for a long time I can not cope with myself and not ask a question. Where do you get such creative ideas for drawings? You are a creative person whose imagination can be envied. I also try to be creative and do my assignment for me in my blog and people like you inspire me.
